Metolong connector burst causes water shutdown
Dear Customer,
Please be informed that water supply shutdown was experienced from 05/10/18 in the following parts of Maseru:
Ts’osane
Naledi
Part of Khubetsoana
Mabote
Koalabata and
Sekamaneng
The shutdown was due to pipe burst. Repairs were made on 10/10/18 following days of a hunt for the required parts.
Water was temporarily provided to the affected customers through mobile water tanks placed at different strategic points within the affected villages, during this time.
Following successful repair works, water supply was restored at Mabote and Naledi from 10/10/18 and subsequently other areas, while residents of Koalabata are yet to get water from their taps.
WASCO regrets the inconvenience to be caused by this service disruption.
