WASCO assures service delivery

Today, the Member of Parliament for Thaba Bosiu Constituency, Malebaleba, hosted a public gathering at Ha Makhoathi where key stakeholders including Water and Sewerage Company (WASCO) and Lesotho Electricity Company (LEC) engaged with the community on service delivery matters.

Addressing the residents, WASCO Chief Executive Mpeke Lebohang assured the communities of Thaba Bosiu that the corporation has already begun implementing water supply initiatives within the constituency. He emphasized that WASCO remains committed to its mandate of providing reliable water services to the people.

Also speaking at the gathering, the Deputy Principal Secretary in the Ministry of Natural Resources, Lisema Lekhooana, urged residents to refrain from illegal water connections, noting that such practices negatively affect service delivery and infrastructure efficiency. He appealed to communities to cooperate with authorities in order to pave the way for improved and sustainable water services.
