Water and Sewerage Company (WASCO) is hereby wish to warn and inform the public that the amount of water in Metolong Dam has severely increased and at the verge of over spilling anytime due to the current rains.
Therefore, the public living nearby and along the Phuthiatsana river banks is humbly warned to stay cautious of this situation. The community is requested not to graze their animals any closer to the river, to avoid crossing river on the unsafe areas, to also stop mining sand, doing washing especially at this time as that could be dangerous in their lives. Everybody is requested to be aware of this situation and protect themselves.
