Water and Sewerage Company (WASCO) is hereby wish to inform the customers and public at large that effective from 26th March 2020 to 16th April 2020 the Company has come to a decision to lockdown some WASCO operations for a period of 3 weeks.
This is in an effort to mitigate exposure to the prevailing pandemic to ensure that there is adequate social distancing.
Meter reading service has also been suspended and therefore the billing service will be done based on the estimates which will also be off set right at the end of the shutdown period.
New connection service has been suspended.
Customers are encouraged to pay through their on line platforms such as: Mpesa, Ecocash, Standard Lesotho Bank on: 9080000042222 Ref your seven digits account number and also at Shoprite, Pick n Pay shops.
For Pre-Paid customers, they are encouraged to pay their bills at the following destinations: Garages- Lakeside, Border Post and Pioneer Mall– Pick n pay, and Motloheloa along Metolong DCS line.
