Water and Sewerage Company (WASCO) is hereby wish to warn and inform the public that the amount of water in Metolong Dam has tremendously increased, to a point of over spilling due to the current rain falls.
The public living nearby and along the Phuthiatsana river banks, is humbly warned to be cautious of the following:
1. To avoid grazing their animals any closer to the river,
2. To avoid crossing the river on the unsafe areas,
3. To also stop mining sand along the river banks and
4. Also, to cease doing washing especially at this time, as that could be dangerous for their lives.
Therefore, everybody is requested to be aware of the situation and take extra care.
